I was looking through my folders when I came across this from a new months back that I had forgotton about. I must of been in one of those moods lol. Just a poem about....everything I suppose
As I sit and wonder carelessly of times since gone and past
Of friendships kind and dreams uncruel and moments not to last
Of many hopeless wishes and many restless nights
Fading in the depths and dancing in the heights
I ponder on those rare occasions of trust in another's faith
And those short spells of holding close to something feeling safe
With every laugh you didn't see until you feel its grace
Dreams you shared under siege from life's ungodly face
But each moment of joy elapsed ,pain and anger too
Lies a history of friendship that over the years grew
As I sit and wonder aimlessly of this love and life occasion
To fight the force of hatred and block my minds invasion
With dreams collapsed and secret trust and hands we hold high
Of times I've loved the world god gave and times I wish to die
Desires gained, love unbroken, the door to our memory
Sometimes a smile in the wind or admitting that your sorry
Some moments fade as with time, with friends or you alone
The times of holding your own hand, of being your own home
Fantasies great, movements small and the life truly divine
Darkness follows, in the gutter leaving us behind
But as I sit and wonder I know the answer I shall find
There is no answer in this world so live until you die
