My wardrobe is only about half-male. I have to clean everything out this month (i have tons of girls/women's stuff from a while back) but i've been putting it off because my parents still aren't cool with everything. If i suddenly get rid of a bunch of junk, well, don't know - crying jag maybe?

Hasn't stopped me from buying stuff, though. ^_^

Don't have an exact tally but here goes:

7 or so button up long sleeve shirts (some casual, some dressy)
7 or so sweaters (some casual, some dressy)
3 button up short sleeve shirts (plain/plaid)
10 or so short sleeve tees (some casual/print some dressier/plain)
3 pairs of jeans that fit nicely
5 vests
2 pairs of sweat pants for workout (not that i work out much :P )
1 pair of track pants
5 or so pairs of PJ bottoms
1 pair of cargoes
1 pair of dress slacks
1 pair of sneakers
1 pair of "dressy" shoes (though my parents refer to them as my "cop shoes")
1 pair of sandals

And the (some what) essentials - boxers, briefs, socks, binders, etc.

I'm waiting to buy more stuff since i'm trying to loose weight. Especially pants (top/s won't change much in size i'm guessing.) My goal is to lose enough weight to feel good in a suit by next fall.)

As far as issues finding clothes, wasn't a problems, I have simple taste, just jeans and T-shirts mostly. I finds men's clothes much more attractive and comfortable! If I don't feel like shopping I just steal clothes from my partners side of the closet.

Make that one less pair of trunk briefs.  Have you ever been having an awesome day then BOOM!  red death rears its ugly head all over your favorite pair of underwear?  Err.  I can't wait until I my body stops bleeding all over my clothes every month.  I guess it's back to girl underwear for the next week...   >:(

Few pairs of jeans, some plain dark shirts, sports bra (for binding,) couple belts and a pair of running shoes.

There are other things as well that I don't use, as my mother doesn't like me throwing out clothes so they just sit there and collect dust.

Edit: I forgot, +three button up shirts, two white one black.

It's never washed out before.  Even with stain removers I usually have gross brown stains.

If you can, wash as much of the blood out with cold water.  It's gotta be cold, or else the stain will set. The quicker you get on to it the better.  I am amazed by how much comes out with just cold water.  Then, something like Sard Wonder Soap and a lot of scrubbing.

Just got mine, grr.  It was late and I thought I had actually psyched myself into not getting them but not the case! If it had been one day earlier it would've gone all over my bright orange y-fronts, so thank f--k for that.

i normally use tampons but if it still manages to escape I get stains too because I never bother to soak my ->-bleeped-<-. the whole concept of menstruation upsets me, naturally, so I am rather unpractical about it.

I am very much looking forward to loosing my period someday when i start taking T.

Yeah, I've never managed to do the soaking thing...I tend to just throw the stained ones out and buy new ones.

Peroxide helps get blood out, especially if you get it put on immediately.  Red death sux.  I'm having problems right now with spotting almost every day; the doc did an ultrasound and the uterus lining is really really thick.  So she put me on Provera (gag, I hate the idea of that in my system, but it was either that or get scraped out).

I think the idea of a wardrobe thread for the ladies is a great idea; it would be interesting to compare.

Yeah, but in order to do the peroxide thing (or the cold water thing), you have to (1) be willing to touch the stain while it's still relatively fresh and (2) have somewhere to leave wet bloody underwear to soak and (3) be willing to touch said wet bloody soaking underwear to rinse it out after it's done soaking. All three of which make me physically ill. I'd rather just lose $2 in underwear every month or two.

My thoughts exactly.  Every last one of them.  In fact, that's my plan for getting rid of my female underwear-- they've just become my red death underwear and I'll throw them out when they get stained.  I've never bothered with the soaking thing and I lose a pair or two a period because I refuse to wear panty liners in the days leading up to when I'm supposed to get it (which I never bothered to chart, so I have no idea when I'm about to get it) or in the days after.  I HATE the feel of pads and refuse to wear them longer than necessary, but I don't like sticking things... up me...  so I'd rather the pads.  Yeah, it's impractical and a little stupid, but it's how I feel.

And we just totally derailed this thread...   >:-)
