Cross-Dressing Bank Robber Hits Chandler Bank

​A bank robbery suspect turned a Chandler bank into a drag show yesterday, when he dressed like a woman while committing his heist.

According to witnesses, the suspect -- wearing a black cotton knee-length summer dress with a purple shirt underneath and a long, black curly wig tucked under a black and purple checkered hat --pulled out a handgun at a Wells Fargo Bank in Chandler yesterday afternoon and demanded cash.

No ensemble is complete without a pair of pink slippers, of course, which police say the cross-dressing crook was also wearing.

ran around the back of the bank with a black grocery bag full of an undetermined amount of cash.

Yeah!  I don't think there is much sympathy for banks these days anyway.
