Chennai: 30-year-old Rose Venkatesan, the first transgender in India to become a television host. It's Rose's first birthday as a woman on Thursday. She underwent a sex-change surgery last on March.

"I am very happy, day by day, I feel so good, so beautiful, so light. I am really happy with the way I look. It's also causing a lot of changes to the way I look. My face and skin, my structure everything is changing. I am very happy about it," said TV host, Rose Venkatesan.
