The side that had been revised in office as well as surgery with more taken out on the third is doing fine. Not to bad on swelling a few spots still bother me but I think with exercise they may flatten out. Now the right side is giving me a lot of pain at one point it was the size of my first protruding from my body. At first I thought it was just swelling until the skin started to take on the shinny tight feel that both sides had for the first surgery. The second week after surgery and my first week back at work I had to go in and get drained. Did I mention that I had drains on both side and the one that is giving me the worst issue had the darker fluid coming out even though it had not been much? Yesterday was my second draining the same amount taken out this time with more pain because we had to squeeze the area to push the fluid around. Even with this I will most likely need another draining -Shudders- At least this time she said it does not seem like I am gaining fresh blood. The fist size has gone down by half even though more fluid is left in there.

Q1: Is there something I should avoid taking doing to keep any more fluid from building up?

Q2: I am having to use my normal tri top binder the first day putting it on was a itch! because of the sand paper feeling over the skin because of the nerves.  I have started to get the bruising under the arm as well as the seam lines. I was told that it may just be skin raw bruising what sort of things can I use other then goldbond to give the cloth more movement leave?

Q3: I had read some where a while ago that Lemon T promotes quick healing as in reducing the swelling. I know I drank a load of it when I shattered my ankle and had the doctor comment on how I should have more swelling considering the amount of stuff had to be done to repair me. Was wondering if anyone else has found this to be true, I have also been adding in real lemon juice. (The tea is fantastic this way.plus honey.)

Regarding question 3; Vitamin C is excellent for healing. We don't naturally make it ourselves, so need to get it from food or supplements. I highly recommend buying a pack of vitamin C tablets and taking quite a few each day. I usually have 1000mg a day. The wonderful thing is that you can't overdose on it. If you take too much, it'll just come out the other end.
