This week, I travelled in an island here to attend an international symposium. Airports were crowded, and so many people paid attention to me. Today morning, due to fog, many flights were delayed, and several groups of teenagers on school excursion virtually occupied the airport. While I walk to the duty-free shopping center there, I can say that several dozens girl students there all studied me. Of course, I was the tallest woman there, but such attention was unusual. I just wore a semi-formal jacket and white short pants. There were many foreigners who speak in English. They also all looked at me.

I met many scientists from Japan and China. While we had dinner in restaurant, one of my senior scientists suddenly said to Japanese guys "he is pretty". He has been mostly critical on my crossdressing, but any way understands me very well. Whether it was a joke or not, this was the first time he made positive comment on my feminity. I replied "only if you are drunken". Others just smiled. Some of young Korean girls there saw my wearing short pants at first time in the street. One girl exclaimed like "you are so much stylish!" I chatted with her regarding wearing eyeliner and eyeshadow. Other guys intervened in our chatting to say that she should teach me how to wear eyeliner.

While returning home, I waited for a downtown bus, and I can say that nearly all passengers in the right side of the bus looked at me. I did not wear so bold clothes, but just plain jacket... I guess my height is a major factor.

Anyway, suddenly I felt that I can pass as a woman by 100%.

But, a disappointing moment was when the cashier in the duty-free shopping mall asked me to show my id together with the flight ticket. Male name + male number. She looked up to me several times with some surprise, but did not comment anything. Just gave me the receipt and a cartoon of cigarette, which women rarely purchase in this country. And I walked again with confident while enjoying attention. As too many people watched me, I had to sit in a bench to wait for the delayed flight.

That is great news, though I think the cashier was just surprised because she thought that you were female. So yes, you were definitely passing. And you looked great in those pictures.

Barbie, you did alright. Many folks were curious and you passed very well. You possess many feminine features.

Thanks, Samantha and Gennee!

Tonight, I ran to a beach here for exercise. It took 2 hours.

As it's a consecutive holidays, the beach was crowded, and of course some men and women watched me, although I just wore plain athletic short pants and jacket. Some young men and women seemed to be overexcited, as they were enjoying the first hot, summer-like day this year.

Along the beach road, I slowly ran and happened to pass a young couple. Then I felt that somebody was running after me, and I also heard the girl behind me giggling.

I know that people here like to speak to runners, as runners tend to look very friendly to them. But, making fun of me by chasing and mimicking me is another matter. I stopped and looked back at him. He avoided my eyes and just ran back to his girl friend. He was very rude, and also seemed to like sporting with even strange girls. If I were in male mode, then I had to admonish him that men should not look down upon young women  >:(. Elder people usually admonish  youngers in this country. But this time, I just forgave him, as I did not have any other option.

Then what is this girl? Her boyfriend is chasing a woman, and she giggles because he tried to amuse him? It is hard to understand young generation people.

Anyway, there are always a few people like him when I exercise in crowded places. Sometimes I can accept and enjoy it. But, mostly they are gadflies to me. So, my conclusion is that a beauty should go out with a man to avoid these kind of gadflies in the street  :o. That was my fault as I went out alone, attracting attention of insidious people.
