Aging and EGF

Today afternoon, when I arrived home, a neightbor in my apartment greeted me. He works at a biotechnology company, and sometimes visits my institution. He said his company has developed two types of new skin medicine: one is for erasing acne, and another is for reducing winkles based on EGF. He promised to give me some trial samples, and recommended me to search EGF in the internet.

Today I wore a blue jacket, which I love but my family and male colleagues do not like. I took some photos as it was warm like a summer day.

I clearly see fine wrinkles around my eyes, and deep wrinkles around my mouth and in my forehead. Alas. My biological age approaches 50. Aging is the first reason why I once tried to get HRT. As EGF would not require permission from my wife, I will try a EGF sample very soon, and post whether it is indeed effective. Did anybody try this kind of EGF cosmetics?

I've not read much into EGF, but I believe Tretinoin (Available as Retin-A cream) and Bio-Oil are the best treatments for both acne scarring and ageing skin/wrinkles.

From your second photo, your skin looks in very good condition for approaching 50 years old! From that angle I can see no "crow's feet", for example.  Your hair is also very thick and young-looking!

This weekend I did not see the biotech neighbor. He works in Seoul and comes here every weekend. I wish I meet him soon to get the EGF sample. He said the EGS stuff is a revolutionary one in skin cosmetics. And, I am ready to test it  I just want to soften the line in my left cheek. Some dermotologists recommend me botox, but I am not quite sure whether it is for me. I guss EGF could be better.

My hairs were once like needles according to hair dressers at that time. After getting some straightner, my hair seems to become thin, according to hair dressers nowadays. They also warned me that I can be bald if not taking care of my hair health. Now I am taking finasteride for preemptive strike on possible hair loss

People get dependent on Botox. Once it wears off in half a year or so, if you don't get it again then your face is saggier than it was in the beginning. Or so I hear.

Botox... yeah, it's certainly a very commercial product as far as guaranteeing returning clients goes .

I don't know which shampoos or other treatments you're using but Nizoral contains 2% kotoconazole and Nizorelle (which contains 1%) which will help. Studies have shown that Nizoral (2%) is as effective as Minoxidil/Rogaine (2%) and Nizorelle has been found to be almost as effective.  There's also Revita which contains 1% kotoconazole as well as a variety of beneficial ingredients such as Emu Oil but that may not agree with your personal ethics.

There's also Saw Palmetto which many people take to complement their finasteride intake, or taken alone if they don't want the side-effects caused by finasteride.
