Ben Hudson, co-founder of the Sacramento Transgender Coalition, opened the 5th Annual California Transgender Leadership Summit (2010). The summit is being held at the University of California at Davis (UC Davis) -- just outside of Sacramento, California.
The summit lasts through Sunday, followed by a transgender advocacy/lobby day on Monday, May 17th.

He's also a longtime workplace advocate on transgender workplace issues.
The bulk of the interview is about the federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act (HR 3012) and the current worries about the bill's as yet unreleased bathroom language. At the time of this interview the bill is still awaiting a House committee mark-up.
