Letters Sent to Hill Demand House Members Declare Position on Transgender Bill 

This week, as a bill that would override the laws of 38 states and could result in transgendered teachers to teach elementary school children stealthily heads to a committee markup and House vote, Traditional Values Coalition Executive Director Andrea Lafferty sent letters to key Members demanding they declare their opposition to ENDA, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, or face the wrath of their constituents.

Excerpts from one of the letters include the following:

"It has come to my attention that you support putting transgender teachers in the classroom.  If this is untrue, I would appreciate an opportunity to meet so you can clarify your position before any vote on H.R. 3017, the so-called Employment Non-Discrimination Act known as ENDA."
