The Drag Problem

There are two major problems that are often made visible in the internal workings of Trans community discourse, three if you count differently, that seriously affect the way that Trans folks inter relate with one another.

One of those is the "creepy" sort that gets all sexual obsessed with being around Transsexuals and hits on them and asks them out and stutters over themselves while they seemingly try really hard not to reach out and fondle you.

Not the "->-bleeped-<-s" — who would be the third class here — but the one's that do all the stuff that Trans folk do and try really hard (usually too hard) to fit in.

The other are Drag Queens.  Inclusive of their close cousins, the Drag Kings, and basically that whole class of people who do "trans stuff" as entertainment, and, in so doing, as subject to issues of situational membership whereby other people associate them with other kinds of Trans folks.

I'm sorry to sound harsh, but this article is very poorly written. It's hard to follow as Dyssonance bounces from topic to topic without any cohesiveness. She tries way to hard to sound overly intelligent. In the intro, she brings up two main points of discussion, but focuses almost entirely on the second. She has several glaring typos, grammatical errors and run-on sentences. Finally, she doesn't even offer a closing paragraph...

I see what she's getting at, but this was painful to read. I expect more from her.
