ST. LOUIS — Alderman Shane Cohn introduced Board Bill #67 at City Hall, May 21 to add Gender Identity and Expression to St. Louis' existing Nondiscrimination Ordinance. The legislation was announced  at the previous evening's Town Hall for Gender Identity and Expression at Central Reform Congregation.

City Ordinance 67119, which was approved June 13, 2006, makes it illegal to discriminate in regard to housing, employment, education, services, public accommodations, and real property transactions regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, marital status, familial status, sexual orientation, national origin or ancestry, or legal source of income.
