My comment about hips came from my GYN who is a whole more knowledgeable than i,and at any given time has anywhere from 15 to 25 TG's under his care at any time,sooooooo i would take his word over most others especially somebody on a thread!!!
I have had pain in my hips for quite a while on and off but as to if they moved or not ? it would be hard to tell as i have gained quite a bit of fat in that area.That being said i was the last person anybody would have guessed was TG i was body builder mans man and i now stand like a woman and walk like a woman.I did nothing to change that it happened about the time my hips started hurting.I have been told many times that you can never tell what the human body can do!!!

Did you lose any height?I hope I have the same luck.

About half an inch,but boy the body composition is sure changing a lot,i think most of it is on my thighs and my hips!!

i have loss 2 inches in hight and my shoe size has gone from size 10.5 us to 8 now so while i generally agree that once bone structure has fused there is little hrt can do change that. im not convinced that it dosnt affect bone structure in some way. Since endocrinology is a complex science and even the doctors will tell you they are not 100 percent sure of what the hormones control within the body the fact remains that ive loss height and shoe sizes if thats do to ligament shrinkage it would still be caused by hrt and it still altered my bone structure even if the actual bone density and shape didnt change the size still did so your accessment that it dose nothing to bone shape is incorrect it certainly did mine and a few others that have reported.

Jesse, on the foot shrinkage it may be a sort of psychological thing. As a teenager I used to wear size 9 or 10 shoes...I now where size 7 (ocasionally 6 but it depends on fit) I think all that happened was that I stopped stopped trying to mask an aspect of my body that either consciously or sub-consciously I thought made me less manly.

It's just a thought, though you could well be right...I'd find it funny if i dropped another couple of shoe sizes again. hehe

hmm nope not phycological i were police boots which are fairly expensive and i have had to reduce the size of them twice now to keep my feet from sliding in them when i run. 2 inches is a big diff and very noticeable and at 150.00 a pair i wouldnt be replacing them if it wasnt necessary. i have no explanation for the shoe size decrease. other then possible bone loss or ligament shortening and though im not linking it directly to HRT i am saying that it started about 4 months into hrt and so far has not stopped. And if hrt is indirectly responcible for it then the statement HRT dosnt affect bone structure is incorrect. As i stated from the beginning i have read the lituture that says it will not afect bone structure im just not entirely convinced that that is an absolute fact. Also the thread is about pelvis rotation and if ligments are affected and the pelvis tilts forward then hrt again afected bonestructure by afecting the tissues and ligments secure them in the correct biological position so again the statement hrt dosnt afect bone structure would be incorrect. this is my oppinion on this based on personal and what other people have said occured to them

HRT can cause significant changes in bone densitometry, that is one of the reasons that the medics want to supervise HRT because there is a real risk of osteoporosis.

Not sure about the rotation stuff. Then again E does have an affect on ligament strength, and muscle bulk (both the AA & E) .

I think in Jesse's case, her feet have got smaller because she has been kicking ass

I'm with you Jessie,i have been on this earth for a long time and you never can say never happen,about the time you do something will pop up show you different!!! I have been on injecting depo with oral progesterone for a little over 3 years and was on oral estrogen before that and the changes really started coming once i went on the shots and are still ongoing,GYN said for at least another 2-3 years. Most of the ladies i know say i have a better swish than they do and that came naturally about a year ago!!!

This definitely happened to me -- I was wearing size 11 mens before, so you can imagine my surprise (and gratitude!) when I found out I wear size 10 womens!  If HRT shrinks my feet that would be killer, but size 10 is okay by me .
