Alessandro

In response to the OP: I thought of doing a simmilar thing because I have been using Alessandro, the Italian for Alexander, as an internet name for ages.  I have chosen to go with the English though, but of course if I did move to Italy Alexander Micheal can naturally become Alessandro Marcello and I still get to introduce myself as Alessandro over there.  So it works out.  I think "Ronaldo" might be a stretch though!  (Cos it makes me think instantly that he was a footy fanboy and just named himself after two great footballers! ;D)
