So went into the office and went to the receptionist, "I'm here to see ____, last name is ____", luckily everything went as planned - she didn't ask for my first name

. She said ok and I went to sit down. I was a few mins early, but I ended up waiting for like 45 mins, I'm very patient so I didn't mind. So my endo came out and wonder where my file was or something, and started talking to the receptionist. I guess the receptionist thought I was some other person, I made my appointment under my legal name (male name, but when I called I said I go by Katelyn /shrug, note: get name change asap) and she didn't think that was me

. I was the only one in the waiting room by this time, so I wasn't just outed to everyone or anything.
So went to my endo's office, asked me the usually stuff, etc. My testosterone is in the female range now *waves flag*

, and the female hormones were on the low side, but I was on a low dose so that was to be expected. At one point she asked me if I had a boyfriend

, I paused... not sure what to say (I'm a lesbian), but I just went with a no. For anyone else that is gay/lesbian how do you usually respond to something like that (someone implying you're straight)? "No" dropped the topic pretty quickly which is what I wanted

, but I wonder what you guys/gals say. Anyways, she increased my dose of hormones to the "normal dose"
