A previous post made me curious about what proportion of us are guys and how many are girls.  I apologize for the rather pointless topic, but now that I am curious, I would really like to know.  I appreciate your help!

susan's must be doing something right because over the years i've used lots of forums and many didn't have a single FtM member.   Dunno why.
maybe it's because the homepage lists the FtM section?

Susans was the only place I came across during my researching phase that seemed to cater to FTMs, the rest of the things I found leaned very heavily towards MTF issues. The other FTM sites I did come across were out of date or abandoned. I'm not sure why that is.

Interesting.  Dead even so far.  I have to say, so far in my experience with a trans support group, the split seems to be about 50-50, but you can't use any particular meeting to tell, because it's a drop-in thing, not everyone shows up all the time, but so far it looks to me like the number of MTF and FTM is only "very slightly" weighted towards MTF, in that group at least.  Which is good, because I really like having FTM's around - they liven things up!

I like that there is a good mix of guys and girls here.  :)

I think the topic is very interesting and I'm curious too. I like the mix, it's 50-50 right now.

Wow, this actually really surprises me.  It seems like I've met a fair number more girls on this site than guys.  I guess I need to go meet some more guys and even things out.
*waves* Hi guys!

I live in a dual transition home and haveing a one stop forum for MTF and FTM (ok ok Sevan is androgyne but my sweety is soaking up the T like its candy so the medical needs are the same as FTM) is a real blessing.
I do not know what it is about Susans that brings MTF and FTM into one place and keeps us here but for a family such as mine? Awesome.

If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

I think its great its such an even mix- feels like a proper family/community. Not too much T making it all macho and not too much E making it all lovey and homey. And yes i am prepared to get shot down in flames for that statement  ;D

I haven't voted yet... I am weighing up whether I am cheeky enough to opt for "other" on the grounds of being technically kind of ItF, but I think I'll wait and see what some of my compatriots do...  ;)

There's a reason it's there, Jenny! lol
As an aside, I noticed that under the profile options you can only choose M or F.  I'm going to go ahead and guess that it is just part of the forum base that we use, but it made me laugh.  If there ever were a site that needs more options, it seems like Susan's would be it!
