I'm not sure how this would work that would be different than other dating sites like
tsdating.com?
I don't frequent dating sites per se, so I'm not sure how it would work. You say that it would be for straight trans people. But is a trans woman looking for a man, straight? Does it even matter?
Would your questionnaire be something like:
I AM AMale,
Female,
Male identified,
Female identified,
Male Pre-op,
Male Post-op,
Male Non-op,
Female Pre-op,
Female Post-op,
Female Non-op
Androgynous
I AM LOOKING FORMale,
Female,
Male identified,
Female identified,
Male Pre-op,
Male Post-op,
Male Non-op,
Female Pre-op,
Female Post-op,
Female Non-op
Androgynous
And then would you be weeding out Male/Male, Female/Female, Male Pre-Op/Male Pre-Op, ...etc?
If you have a dating site, then who's to say who should be allowed to date who? I've always had a problem with
Match.com and their "29 points of compatibility" and then exclude same sex dating requests.
From a pragmatic point of view, the success of the site would be determined by traffic, and the more traffic, the better. So why restrict it?
I'm not saying your idea is invalid, I'm just not understanding. Can you clarify? Thanks.
