Nashville is mourning its queen this weekend.

Mark Middleton, known to three decades of adoring audiences as the fabulous, fiercely funny drag queen Bianca Paige, died Friday of complications from HIV and cancer. He was 45.

With a voice like a thousand-pack-a-day cigarette habit, tossing out one-liners and belting out show tunes, Bianca Paige was the undisputed star of Nashville's drag scene.
