So went into the office and went to the receptionist, "I'm here to see ____, last name is ____", luckily everything went as planned - she didn't ask for my first name ;). She said ok and I went to sit down. I was a few mins early, but I ended up waiting for like 45 mins, I'm very patient so I didn't mind. So my endo came out and wonder where my file was or something, and started talking to the receptionist. I guess the receptionist thought I was some other person, I made my appointment under my legal name (male name, but when I called I said I go by Katelyn /shrug, note: get name change asap) and she didn't think that was me . I was the only one in the waiting room by this time, so I wasn't just outed to everyone or anything.

So went to my endo's office, asked me the usually stuff, etc. My testosterone is in the female range now *waves flag* :), and the female hormones were on the low side, but I was on a low dose so that was to be expected. At one point she asked me if I had a boyfriend :o, I paused... not sure what to say (I'm a lesbian), but I just went with a no. For anyone else that is gay/lesbian how do you usually respond to something like that (someone implying you're straight)? "No" dropped the topic pretty quickly which is what I wanted :P , but I wonder what you guys/gals say. Anyways, she increased my dose of hormones to the "normal dose" ;D :icon_dance:

Congrats Katelyn!  And assuming we both go to the same place (how many are there here? LOL) they lost my file too so don't worry about it.

Ty :), they switched receptionists sometime recently so that may be it, I was hoping that I passed enough that she didn't even consider I was "male name" ::) ;)

I'm pretty sure we go to the same place (Dr. last name has 3 words), I know of some other people that go to her, I don't know if they go to this site also though :P. I remember bringing her name up at a support meeting once, and pretty much everyone knows about her, same with Dr. Y, I guess they are the go to people.

So cool thing where I live, I can check my blood test results online ;D

This is about 3 months after starting HRT.

I imagine the <50, and <30, and <15 for the first 3 tests are the levels you want to be under to be healthy.

<220 for estradiol is probably the male range, what levels of Estradiol are normal for women? I already have some breast growth and other changes, seems like just knocking down the testosterone levels is enough :eusa_think:.

What does DHEA sulfate do?
