It seems like he's only talking that way because it isn't affecting him directly. If it was brought close to home, I'm sure he would react differently.

it probably doesnt help that i work in an auto repair shop and happen to be the only anatomically female person there. I work with a bunch of macho cis super southern ARSES.

this is really more of a rant about how much I HATE THE PEOPLE I WORK WITH. i LOVE tinkering around with cars. i LOVE the fact i get to work on my car in off hourse and get discounts on parts. LOVE it.

im learning cars. the idea is to make a BETTER car. first though..i have to understand the flaws in the current situation.

and i have a hybrid...not the best it could be...but better than most.

working on MY car..hopefully once i get all the kinks figured out..ill have a car that needs no oil or gas. sometimes you have to dance on the devil's playground to be able to learn how to fly.

Most of the East coast of Scotland and England has been drenched in oil for several decades now. Fish stocks in the N Sea are at an all time low.

If we want to drive cars then we have to accept responsibility.

with oil spill...here's my deal....if someone doesnt come up with a way to make it so that we dont NEED to do stuff like drill for oil...and not only not need it...but have alternatives that make oil look so stupidly expensive and ridiculous from a financial standpoint...then its going to keep happening.

i send all the aid i can down there...but people arent going to go for alternatives unless they are easier AND less expensive than what we use right now

working at a car shop...i have the tools and access to parts that i need to be able to work on my car experiments. id never be able to do that in any other position i could currently get. Im a student in college..which is synonymous with poor as crap. not even mentioning the single parent thing.

but anyways...
