Bones

Greetings ladies 'n gents. I'd like to introduce myself. My name's Wes..short for Wesley but people call me Bones. I currently live in a small tourist trap named Williamsburg in Virginia but hoping to get outta here soon. I was on T about 3 years ago but my son was still in school at that time and when the principle called to speak to my son's 'mother' and I said, yes..he hung up on me thinking it was a prank...so, I stopped T for awhile till my son was out of school or living with his dad. Now he's living with his dad so I'm anxious to get the ball rolling again. I'm out to a few people at work already. People generally are pretty cool with it with me. I haven't had any issues with people. Most say 'Cool!' and then ask all the barrage of questions. And I'm pretty open about answering them. Ummm..what else...? Right, I have two sons. One's 18 and the other is 16..and I don't think of myself as a female going to be a male. I think of myself as male, in the wrong body and working on setting things right for myself. Ok...think that's it. *Waves*

Hi Bones,
Welcome to Susan's  :-*

Some of my relatives came from Virginia, a place called Boykins. Tiny place by all accounts. I'm in Adelaide, Australia. Which is a fare days swim to get to the USA.

Have a search around and join the family. Always nice to welcome a new brother.

Hi Bones and welcome. I enjoyed reading your story. I'm with you as to how I see myself. I see myself as a transgender woman.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

Thanks for the welcomes! And a real big thanks for the "brother" part...That made me smile like nothing else. Feels good to be recognized as a man after many hours at work being called "ma'am". And yes. I've noticed the feeling of family here. I was reading a bit before I joined and a bit more after. I love the way this place feels, welcoming, inviting and all. Some places there's so much bitterness and rudeness it puts a nasty taste in my mouth. I'm pretty much a laid back kinda guy and drama makes me want to just walk away...but I haven't seen any here yet and that is fabulous in my book.

Hi, Wes:

Sounds to me like you're totally on the right track, man!

You've got it together.  Your kids are cool with you.  Your coworkers are hip with it.  You've actually got it goin' on, bro.

Sounds like all you have to do is get back with the T and just be yourself.  That's awesome.  We're glad you're here.  Hey, POST, man.  Lots of cool people here.  You're bound to click with some of them.

:)   Lacey Lynne

Oooo! The ladies are so friendly here...*Gives flirtatious eyebrow wiggles* hehe Thanks for the welcome all. I am already addicted I think. I love trying to help others take this journey..it's what I wished I had when I was younger..and I think it's needed for us to thrive as a community...and no..I'm not always this annoyingly upbeat..
