My mother calls today (10 days before my surgery) and demands to know why I didn't share my surgery info (address, phone, surgeon, etc) until she asked. "Don't you think we care?" and other accusations.
It's stressful enough packing and planning for surgery, working 2 jobs, and making sure my life is in order before I go. TBH, sending out a list of when/where/phone #s etc was on the list for next week. Just didn't get around to it yet.
But the guilt trip....
(BTW, mother and I are not close).
