So, I had a little internal bleeding complication after surgery and ended up needing about 6 units of blood, but it was never life threatening just a bit of a slow leak. lol Anyways, I had to spend an extra day in hospital and have simply been too sore to sit at my computer for the last 2 weeks! I'm healing well now and every day is getting better. I can't even describe in words how wonderful it is to finally be whole.
And let me just say that Dr. McGinn is my hero! She brought me through the complications and was right there for me when I needed her, even at 3 o'clock in the morning when I needed a few extra stitches to stop the bleeding. Her expertise and professionalism as well as her compassion and commitment to her patients continues to amaze me. She is one remarkable woman.
Thank you all again for all your good thoughts, it has really helped a lot and I am humbly grateful.
