Regrowing eyebrows

I used to have the bushiest, meanest eyebrows ever.  Then, after 30 years of chronic plucking, they are a bit subdued.  Now I want to regrow them, but it is hard work.  I haven't plucked them for perhaps two months and there is minimal regrowth.

I realise that repeated plucking can damage the follicle and prohibit regrowth, but I wonder if anyone has found that abused eyebrows do grow back in time?

Also, have people on T noticed that eyebrows become thicker?

Some of mine grew back after being on T for a while.  However I only went through 5 or 6 years of plucking/waxing.  The hair is noticeably thinner in some of those areas

I've never plucked, but my eyebrows have definitely gotten thicker on T.

I've never seen it happen. Damage is a one-way street.

It's possible you had pulled out some of the hairs by the root, which means they won't be growing back.

I haven't started T, but I rarely pluck my eyebrows because I can't see my own arch--and because I'm lazy.

some people described substantial changes using regaine to grow facial + body hair. (it's not meant to be used that way though, hence not recommended)

what helped to make my eyebrows grow back was to trim them all.....surrounding area included. (not really recommended either, looked weird for almost a month)

there are tiny baby hairs around your eyebrows which if you still have them, you can dye to the color of your eyebrows. that will make your eyebrows appear massive, because dark baby hair looks just like regular eyebrow hair. (recommended)

I'm growing my eyebrows out now too, but they seem to be growing in fine.  I had only plucked my eyebrows for a couple of years, however.  My mom is in here 40s and never plucks her eyebrows anymore because they don't grow in... she even has little bald spots in the middles of her eyebrows.

I never plucked mine more than every couple weeks, and I was always really cautious with it, I was terrified of having them look unnaturally thin. But I did notice some slower regrowth. But I let them alone for a while (too depressed to take care of my appearance) and they grew back perfectly normal.

Recently though I've been plucking the parts I don't like again. No need to have furry eyelids.

I never plucked and only experimented with the pit shaving. I still have thin brows tho.

Thanks folks.  I guess it is a game of wait and see.  Some hairs are growing back in, but many aren't, so I guess I'm screwed.  I will see what happens on T and then rub some Baby Bio in if emil's tips don't work ;)
