Hi, I'm Without_Yolk, but I'm usually refereed to as Alex.

A bit about me: I'm from SA, Texas, but going to college in MN studying to be a filmmaker, and I love to read books and comic books!

I came here to hopefully find those who can give me advice and point me in the correct direction. Also, to perhaps make friends.

I come from a family that are Liberals at heart, but still manage to close their minds to the idea of me being a man. It may be hurtful, but I've been lucky to have a friend who already refers me to as a he and supports me all the way.

Nice to meet ya'll and thanks for the lending of your ear.  :)

Hi Alex, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 5000 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hugs and Love,

Alex:

You sound very intelligent to me.  Texas has a lot going for it.  My favorite all-time singer is from Texas ... Port Arthur as a matter of fact.

How do you like Minnesota?  Too cold for you?  You like your studies?

You've come to a good place here, man.  You'll find friends.  Get into it.  Rock on!

Thanks for all the welcomes.

MN is really cold, but I find it an interesting experience. When it was winter I couldn't help pretend I was on some great Arctic adventure. Hah.

I enjoyed my studies, but right now I'm back in Texas. I'm gonna try to get back to MCAD for my Spring semester, but I may have to wait if I don't get the loans.

And I shall rock on!

Hello Alex!  I can definitely understand the family thing, as it is something with I am dealing with at the moment.  It is always great to have friends that will support you for being you, and I hope that your family can eventually accept you for who you really are.  I feel quite blessed that I have so many close friends that are supporting me with my transition.
