I love McDonald's iced coffee. Other than that I am a Starbucks addict. I am helping put somebody's kid through college with the amount of money I spend on my white chocolate mocha lattes. I can't go a day without coffee or else withdrawel hits.

Drinking coffee with a straw can be just as pleasurable but I really doubt it prevents stained teeth. I enjoy drinking from those red small coffee stirrers.

It helps. It puts the majority of the coffee behind your front teeth instead of straining it through your front teeth.

What my dentist told me to do was every time I drink coffee or any form of juice such as orange juice (well mainly OJ), always wash my mouth with water afterwards. This reduces the staining and also helps you clean it off when you brush you're able to brush your teeth later on. And this really works. I can attest to this. Doesn't work 100% but it sure helps.

I am a lover of coffee. I drink it all day long :D I get made fun of b/c I've been known to drink coffee before a long run, while everyone else is chugging Gatorade or something... I even like iced coffee for the 90+ degree days!! lol!!

I drink my coffee from a straw...my mom showed me that trick and now by dunkin donuts cups are not smeared in lipstick..

also, isnt coffee one of the basic food groups??

I'm the person who walks into the coffee shop and orders "medium coffee, black" and just says that over and over, while they blabber on about 'room for cream' ("would you like me to give you only 75% of your order?") and some Italian size chart that why in the hell should I know that crap?  But I do love coffee which is why I put up with it.

First thing I do when I get up is grind the coffee and crank up the old Mistress Coffee, and I have a lot of sources for really good coffee beans here, and I try to take advantage of that, and if not there's always Pete's Blend 101 to fall back on.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

No, coffee is a vitamin, not a food group!

Crypt77

Yes! And you must take your daily vitamins!!!

Man, I drink coffee all damn day. I'll start grinding Colombian beans or espresso beans in the morning, drink most of the pot, put what's left in a spillsafe mug for the car. Then I just find whatever kinds of coffee at work & such.

K so this seems like the place to post this.

My coffee pot is a standard 12 cup pot. I put 12 cups of water in it every day & set the timer. By the time I wake up, I have 12 cups of coffee, not less. Most days there is a whole bunch of water to clean up on the counter, surrounding the pot. It wasn't there before, since I clean up if some spills. What I'm wondering about is where all this water is coming from when I still get a full pot. There are no other water sources there. WTF? I'll replace it soon, but I just find this odd.

I would check the back of the pot, mine has a small slot there that if it is over filled it will run out.  I still get a full pot, but I have had water around it till I saw this slot.

Tried that. No slot in the back other than where the power cord comes from (which isn't really a slot so much as just a spot there the cord comes from). Pretty much solid plastic in that area. I've inspected it as much as I can for something that isn't part of my familiarity (computers, firearms, motorcycles). I think this thing is just magic lolz.

Sounds like your getting condensation (steam), most likely on the lid of the coffee maker and it's dripping off the edges of the coffee maker lid and onto the counter top

Well, the thing finally died. It won't even heat up, much less make a pot. Luckily, I never threw out the old one. Figures. The old one is cheap, & probably at least 5 years old. The newer one is this fancy thing my mother got me for Christmas, & it already crapped out on me.

Fata Morgana

I need to have at least 4 cups of coffee everyday.  :)

I cannot begin a day without it and I usually drink 2 more cups in the evening.

I also drink tea. Actually I've been a tea drinker longer than a coffee addict.  ;D

Does anyone else stick a coffee bean or two between your cheek and gum? I do that when I'm in those places that getting a cup isn't practical. I know people who bite down on them once in awhile for a little burst.

I'll chew on a coffee bean or two on occasion... In younger days I would buy some dark chocolate covered espresso beans... Mmmmm tasty
