Large earrings in boy mode

Hi everyone

What are the largest earrings you would wear in boy mode.

I absolutely love wearing large hoops and I'm very frustrated that I can't wear them in public as a guy or even as an effeminate guy. I think this may be the main cause of my crossdressing tendancies.

When I was younger and prettier in the 1990s and worked for quite a progressive organisation I sometimes wore gold hoops that were about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter and thats about the largest I've worn in public.

However if I could get away with it I would wear earrings twice that size or larger almost all the time.

I would also like to hear opinions on boys wearing button earrings and dangly earrings.
I wanna be both, why can't I be both!

I doubt that I could get away with wearing earrings in boy mode.  If I were, I would use clip-ons since I am not interested in piercing my ears at the moment, though I do love the type of earrings available. :)

That depends on how you see yourself.

Just by coincidence, I saw a piece last night on TV with a clip of a group of football supporters. There was this bald guy siting, drinking his pint, looking like he could square off to Tyson. He was wearing a large white earing on his ear. It wasn't possible to see too much.

But it indicates that it is how you see yourself. Which is the point made by someone else in another thread, yesterday.

I wear half inch white gold contoured ear rings in each ear in guy mode. I've had some looks, but only comment from one of my students, wow they look cool.

No comment from the rest of the people I work with. Oh one comment from a female colleague, "I see someone else has personal jewelry now" said jokingly  (my research group is all female).

The only other mention was when I went back to a major department store and bought stuff. I went back a week later to buy matching things. The cashier said Oh I remember you ( I was in guy drab) I asked why, she just said you have really cute ear rings.

I've bought more ear rings at jewelers, and I recently treated myself to a pair of white and yellow gold danglers after getting some surprise  money. Even though it was obvious they were for me, like  I was holding them against my ear looking in the mirrror  there was no comment just nice talk. I looked at several pieces and the cashier had totally no problem, that she betrayed to me

In my experience most people want to ignore anyone who doesn't fit into their little group.

One after thought, If anyone asks why you are wearing ear rings, just tell them you like them. Stops any other comment

Same here Cindy. I'm 100% in boy mode at the moment and have both ears pierced and half inch sleepers in both ears. I don't have long hair. Short back and sides and a landing strip for our Australian mozzies to land on.
I go out in public like this and I don't care what I look like.
