The 50 year-old writer, who now lives with her husband and two daughters in Montreal, has fulfilled a lifelong dream with the release of her first full-length novel, Annabel. "I began writing when I was four," she recalls via email. "My father taught me to read phonetically before I started school, and when I discovered the local library I could already read many books. As soon as I began reading books I knew that I wanted to write books."
