First, my apologies.  I now realize that I should have first posted here, but instead went to the CD discussion and started posting.

What a great group of people here on this board!  After beginning to bare my soul I've felt no condemnation, but only instant support and friendship as I try to sort out my identity.  I wish I had found Susan's a long time ago.

But for now, I'm dressing at home and where it is safe, as I've been doing for many years.  Hoping I will gain the courage to go out in public and really feel free to explore.  Thanks everyone, it feels so right to be here.

Hi Kristi,
Do worry about not posting a intro first, but Im glad you have now.
This is a great place and we are glad you have join.
A larger part of what happens here is that we listen and share.
I have had allot of support from so many here.  Not just information but they have cheered me on when I was moving forward and have stood by myside and cried with me when I was hurting.
I'm sure, Kristi, you have noticed how people want to help.
I would like to Welcome you to Susan's and have enjoyed posting with you. And hope to be able to contuine postings with you.

Yes, I've been looking at the articles.  It's an amazing amount of information.  Kudos to those who spent so many hours putting it together.  And thanks again!

Hi Kristi!

I'm hoping we can support each other as we begin our journey.  *hugs*  I don't consider myself to be CD, but hopefully therapy will help me identify just what I am.  I haven't dressed up in many years, often feeling extremely depressed when I did so, feeling that the clothes dont' make the woman.  However, since coming out to my spouse and finding some degree of support, I have begun again and enjoying the feeling of femininity much more.

PS - I would soo agree that being here feels comfortable and right!

Hi Kristi,

Looks like me and you are in the same boat! I also am pretty much confined to my home as well. I have also found this forum to be quite supportive, as it is nice to be able to share things I'm not quite comfortable to share with my friends and family.

Feel free to drop me a line sometime.

Thanks Annie and Christie!

Let's do keep in touch.  I'm sure our journeys may be quite different, but the stuggles will be similar.

Peace,

  Kristi
