Luthien

Hello there everyone.

I am a long time lurker and this is the obligatory introduction post. So I am 31 years old and post everything since 2003. At the age of 24 I bought and self administered hormones from overseas for six months before going for the HBIGDA crap and getting a DX.  I voice trained with Andrea's stuff and had electroly done.  I wanted to be in transition, feminizing and using a passable female voice before showing up at a therapist.

Needless to say showing up at a therapist's office dressed down in jeans and turtleneck, already growing my curves, trying to pass as just another college girl, I did not really have to explain anything other than, "Umm I am in transition and I fulltime it on the weekends, could I get a proper hormone prescription please?" Then I got the bloodwork and endo stuff going on properly.

My hair had been down to my arse for years and I did the usual petit feminization like having my ears pierced, and getting my eye brows sculpted. I was already pretty andro and somwhat on the femme side when I started.

I had no family,or kids or anything. I lived alone in my early 20s. I knew there was something seriously wrong with me when I was a teen and even before then when I was a child and had tried to kill myself about six times from age 14-20. I knew I was mentally or spiritually ill somehow. I thought getting involved with GGs and starting a family would be deceitful nondisclosure on my part and I really did not want to do that to anyone since it would be grossly unfair to them. As a result there was no life to clean up and seperate from. I live stealth and life is good and my depression is gone.

Anyway that is all history. I have read many of your stories and I am very touched by them. If I have things to say it will be in the transsexual forum. That is all for now, have a great day.

Welcome to Susan's, Luthien!

I'm pleased that you decided to join us here.  I find that seeing the points of view from transwomen who have gone through the whole trip is very valuable to me, since I'm just starting out.

I'll be looking forward to reading more from you and I'm, again, happy to say,

WELCOME ! !  :)
