Hello everyone!

My name is Ella, and I'm MtF transgender. I've felt more female than male ever since I was very little--for as long as I can remember, really. When I was about kindergarten age I'd go to sleep every night hoping I'd somehow wake up in the morning as a girl. :/

A few years ago I started discovering stuff about being trans on the internet, and decided that had to be me. Ever since then it's been quite a journey towards acceptance of myself and trying to achieve acceptance from my peers and family members.

As of now, I have come out to most of my family and friends. My friends are completely supportive and all call me Ella and refer to me as she/her, and I generally crossdress when I'm hanging out with them. My family on the other hand...not so much. *sigh*

Nonetheless, I'm trying to stay positive and everything! I think it'd be awesome to meet some other transgender people and make friends! So yeah, as the thread title says: nice to meetcha! :3

That does sound quite a bit like me at that age.  I remember praying over and over that my body could be fixed and that I would a girl like I should be.  I'm sure there are many of us here that can definitely identify and relate to this.  Hope to see you around! ^^/

Many of us here felt just like you ... from early childhood.  I did.  Hey, that's way cool that your friends accept you.  Excellent.  I'd like to say your folks will come around, but you have to give them time.  We can never really anticipate how they will take the news.  Patience.  Hope it all works out with them.
