I went out shopping on Monday and managed to get lost in a department store !!! its not funny you know.
I could not find the exit, I walked all the way round the floor.
It meant spending more money hey ho.
Found it in the end though it was not well signed.

The walls are closing in  :D

Lolli...bless your heart.

I have gotten lost in a big department store too.  When I couldn't figure out where I was, it was a little scary.  Later, it was just embarrassing.

Hugs......Laurie
Ya put your right foot in.  You put your right foot out.  You put your right foot in and you shake it all about.  You do the Andro-gyney and you turn yourself around.  That's what it's all about.

Once they got you they want to keep you. It is a fire hazard though.
Mention that to the managment the next time you're in there.

"I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like you,
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So let's make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we're together, we might as well say,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?" - Fred Rogers

You're not alone, if you notice, some discount, low-cost and mid-range stores design them that way, to get you lost, to lose your sense of direction, and just wander around hoping you'll see things to buy. Even some smaller stores do this by arranging their counters and racks without clear views of aisles. I always remember the entrance I walk in, the department such as women's jewelry, mens suits, etc., and if I'm lost ask a clerk directions to that department. Most highend stores know better to arrange their stores to navigate easily and find what you want, including the exits.
