The series starts with Meg: A Novel of Deep terror and is still being written.  I have read "Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror", "The Trench", and am working on "Meg: Hell's Aquarium".  I completely skipped a book because I haven't been able to find it, but I plan on going back and reading it.

I love the series and I'm hopelessly addicted.  But I love Steve Alten!  The first book I read by him was "The Loch" and I've been hooked ever since.

Back to the series at hand.

I love how scientific it gets with how megalodons and other prehistoric critters still survived to this day and age and I enjoy the violence that's seen quite a bit in the books.
