So, it may not as come as a shock to know that Brassard is using the same technique as Dr. Biber, which is the same technique that Dr. Bowers uses as well. The Duo of Dr. B surgeons!

Now the difference between the two are,

Price: Dr. Brassard / Dr. Bowers
Gender: This depends on preference.
Mastery: Dr. Brassard actually mastered the art of the one step technique. Although some complications can arise or weight issues can alter the healing process or sagging of the vagina, brassard is still #1
Nurse Aftercare: Both balance out to an equal ism however, the brassard staff is more pleasant.
Residence/Hotel: While bowers does not have a local recovery house, you are required to stay at a hotel in the meantime pre-op etc.. while with brassard, from pre-op to the final day to go home you don't have to spend a penny more.
Vaginal Esthetics: Dr. Brassard does generally the same work which is good but the downsize is that the neoclitoris might not be extended as much as you would think while with Dr. Bowers, people are more please with the neoclitoris. Dr Brassard does the best one step technique labia minora/majora to date in most of the percentage of patients.
Bigger Hospital: Dr. Brassard as a bigger hospital and can cater to complications faster while currently dr. bowers can not and as to turn down more patients that are potential higher risk of complications. However, Dr. Bowers is soon to move to a bigger hospital in California.
Location Location Location!: By far, most people choose a more scenic more lively environment which would be Montreal. Wether your pre-op and waiting, you can go visit a lot of stores and huge parks while in Trinidad there isn't much.
I Dont Want to be Lost: While trinidad is not that big, you have to rely on your mapping skills to get to the location while in Montreal, you are picked up by a limo and driven directly to residence without stress!

In the end result Dr. Brassard is the most likely choice. I was offered to choose any doctor with OHIP's funding but I wouldn't change anything in the world other then choosing Dr. Brassard.

I am 1 month 3 weeks and a few days away, I have researched more about SRS, then Nasa engineer's search about space suit technology! I am very very exicited however I did have a slight depression and I found out by speaking to someone that it was merely the stress of thinking of the worst, vs. expecting the best.

I am well over it now and I am happier!! w00t w00t... stress sucks especially when you can't figure out what your stressed about!

I thought Dr. Bowers was moving to CA, to the SF area very soon.  At least that's what's going around FTM surgery lists for her meta.

You chose Brassard, so where Bowers is is moot, except for someone still in the process of choosing a surgeon.  I'm putting that here for those people, not you.

I think my choice had always been Brassard--I remember when his rate was 7,000 U.S. when I started transition.  I was broke with nothing--living off welfare and temp jobs.  I thought that was a fortune   Now I could have a hundred sex changes if I wanted to

I just went to the web page for Sex Change Hospital.  I find it mind blowing as to how many people are having this done!  :o

That would explain how she can raise her price. The law of supply and demand.

But for that matter seems Brassard seem to have a very high demand

Sex Change Hospital is great, I have all the episodes recorded into my DVR! The best Episode was with the lady w/ her lesbian partner and her gym friend, she had a VERY SUPER nice result in the end.

The ultimate person who had a super deep voice but had a priceless expression on her face when the packing was removed was the one with the curly hair in a frizz, shes actually on youtube if you type "Sex Change Hospital"

Actually here is a link, "WARNING: GRAPHIC VIDEO"

Wow!  That was great!   I'm going to have to watch these on YouTube.  I thought I would feel uneasy about the dilating part, but to my surprise, I was more in awe along with excited for myself and happy for her!

Yeah, you haven't seen nothing yet, because they show Marci Bowers performing the full surgery on TV. If you have "OUTTV" it plays every Sunday @ 2pm.

However, I am not sure if there's another episode next Sunday because I think today was the last of series for the replays.

There's not much of them on Youtube i think that's the only one. However I might create a second youtube account of mine and upload to a private link the entire series for people here. Time will tell if ill have time for that, at least I can get one full good episode in there and edit out the commercials.

I don't really watch tv, but if you could upload one or two that would be great!

Not a problem for now, I create a fast drawing, people can add to this or argue the technique, I will edit on fly by! I left most of the drawing in layers. This will give you a good idea of the ONE STEP TECHNIQUE.
