So my friend Dr. Weiss caught the article in the Times about the idiot who says that a trans person should always disclose up front.

In a failure of basic logic and social understanding, AriaBlue posits such as due to activists.

A poster at PHB was banned for being, well, a cretin, and saying that one isn't "out" unless one's name assigned by other's is known as opposed to the name we take for ourselves.

Amy Hunter's talked more about her surgical outcome issues, and notes issues related to health care.

Those three things — Health Care, the notions of disclosure and the argument that activists are responsible for such, the idea that one isn't out unless one's entire nymic history is known — all appear on the surface to have nothing in common with each other.
