I seem to be growing a thin teenage-like mustache. I am not on testosterone, I do not pass for male (ever) and I currently don't have plans to pursue a full transition in the near future. As of now I am part time and fail horribly every time I go out.
Pros: hey I apparently can has mustache someday
Cons: it looks bad and isn't helping.

I never thought I would have problems with semi-unwanted facial hair. What do I do with it to get rid of it for now without ruining my chances of a mustache someday in case I decide I should transition?

I have the same problem, since everyone looks at me like I'm a women I get it waxed off so I don't look like 'a 16 year old girl with a mustache' rofl .

yeah the beauty shop thing isn't very comfy to be but hey, they do good work.

is there something I could get at home so I don't have to go to a salon?

gah hmm, I'm pretty sure there are waxing products for at home use ! Even the warm types (slightly more comfy) It doesn't look like the products are expensive, tho the heater might be. might have to take a look at the ladies department at that stuff, from what I learned women have a solution for all their unwanted body hair teheh xD

I would just shave it.
I couldn't imagine waxing anything. I have a high pain tolerance, but the feeling of my body hair being pulled is the worst to me.

I have a niece who is about as 'normal' sexually as it's possible to imagine. I won't go on about how beautiful she is, but walking down the road with her, there did seem to be a lot of drivers looking around, presumably lost.

She had hair on her upper lip when she was in her teens. She just use to cut it off. rasor I think.

If you wax it, the follicles will shrink and the hairs come back less noticeable and thinner. If you're wanting bangin' facial hair later, just shave it for now.

Ditto!  I don't think anyone will give you a second glance for it anyway since so many cis-women have hair on their upper lips; there wouldn't be a waxing industry for the lady-'stache otherwise!

So I should shave it then? (:D !) will it be obvious I'm shaving it (like will I get stubble) or will prettymuch only I know?

It's not too obvious to other people if you shave.

I shave and I am pre-T.  For a couple of days you get a bit of a prickly rough feeling in the area but you're really the only person who would notice that.  It would just grow back to look exactly the way it does now if you leave it.
