I've been thinking about the future a lot lately and I want to become an officer. Being an ftm I'm worried about going through with my college (getting an associates degree in criminal justice) and having trouble finding an agency to hire me.

Wondered if anyone had experience, advice, or suggestions on whether this would be an issue and what to do? I am 1 year away from having that degree. Using it I could go straight into the academy if they will allow me. Legally I know they cant bar me from it just for being trans but sadly I think we all know that people may sometimes use other excuses and such.

I feel like after 4 or 5 years after deciding for sure I want to go through transition I'm eager to begin on T and such but at the same time, I want a career that I truly enjoy. It has already kept me from choosing the military. I'm really beginning to feel lost with what to do.
