I've been on HRT for 7.5 years. Now my wife and I wish to get pregnant. Although my doctor advised me to bank my sperm before I started HRT, it now turns out it can only be used for IVF and only for 2 attempts. We started contemplating the idea of putting the HRT on hold for a few months so my body will begin producing sperm again, and I was wondering if any of you heard of such a case. If so - how long will it take? Will we be able to get pregnant "the old traditional way" or will we still need some kind of assisted fertilization? Is there any way not to stop HRT completely in order not to go back to be the way I looked 7 years ago?  ???

if you have been on HRT for so long the likelyhood of you regaining fertility is pretty much non existant

around 6-9 months of HRT and it is permanant sterility for most of us transgals
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

yeah, that's the same ,myth I was told all these years, but 4 years ago I net another transgal who stopped HRT after several years for a few months, and she and her x-wife used assisted fertilization to get pregnant to a now beautiful 4 years old. I was looking for some other similar cases but never heard of any so far.

you will always find exceptions to the rules
That is why I didn't speak in absolutes and ussed the word 'most'.
