This one is pretty simple.
It's mostly a question of whether you can find the right hole without a mirror.
It applies to anyone with pierced ears.

I don't have pierced ears, but I used to have pierced ears.  When I did, I could find the holes pretty easily even without a mirror.

Yep, I can find the right hole without a mirror.

The real challenge comes with small hoops and getting them to connect without some sort of post.

My ear holes never healed right - I'm not sure if it was an allergy or what, but no amount of time (and no level of gold purity) ever stopped the crusty discharge or the tendency to close up if I went for more than 2-3 days not wearing earrings. So when I wanted to wear them, after I gave up keeping them in all the time and was only wearing them occasionally, I had to stab the earrings through the layer of scar tissue in the center. Which required a mirror.

try stainless steel.

in between 'easily with a mirror" and "blindfolded"
my one set of holes i can do without seeing them since they're 2 years old, whereas the other ones are only a year old, and aren't fully healed yet.
(gold reactions, mutiple infectinons, slow healing in general)

I actually do it close to being blindfolded.  I close my eyes and just feel for the holes.  And they just glide in.  ;D

Meh, I never really wanted pierced ears anyway :) So uncomfortable...and besides, the last thing I need to do is draw attention to my freakish Dumbo ears.

Well then, it works for you. I'm too stubborn to give these things up.

I got both of my piercings last year. Other than cleaning I rarely remove the silver balls from the one piercing

But I switch about ear rings on the lower first piercing daily and take the danglers out at night

Most of the time I can put them in without hardly thinking about it, but sometimes I have to look

When I used to have 'normal' sized lobes I could put the earings in without a mirror. Now my lobes are bigger they're even easier  :P

Mostly no mirror but I have one pair, of course the most gorgeous, that have a loop clasp, bit like inverted U, the dangly bit is attached to one part of the U and the closing clasp to the other, they are naughty girls to put in

I used to have my ear pierced when I was in 5th grade and I never used a mirror to put in the earring :P
Can't wait to get both my ears pierced though!

I enjoy earring shopping even without pierced ears haha. Whenever I'm in Claire's with my sister or bestie we always check out the earrings and jewelry haha

YES Purses and shoes!!! <3 <3 <3 We understand each other!

And Claires is a little store in our malls, in USA, they are geared towards tween girls but they have some cute accessories. They pretty much just sell cheap jewelry and stuff. Some purses and hats but a lot of necklaces rings earrings and a bunch of other junk. Fun to look at haha

Yep, sure can do it blind folded (well I closed my eyes).  I only did it with one.  Someone pointed out to me today that I was missing one of my studs.

Stud type earrings, while I work, other earrings for general use and special ones for going to special functions.

Only ever had one set of piercings and that was done over twenty years ago.  Have thought about getting another set done.  Will see.

Now I have to hunt for that stud.

Kind regards
Sarah B
