I thought I would start a thread on goals you have. They can be anything, little goals that you want to achive in the next few days or goals that could take the rest of you life These goals don't have to be transition goals, they can be anything

Im only going to do the next few years, for now.... But will add more later

2010 Goals:
Come out,
Start HRT,
Be full time,
Enroll in a Photography course for 2011,
Buy a new Pro level camera.

2011 Goals:
Complete Photography course(s)
Apply for a Photography job, on a cruise ship

2012:
Be working on a cruise ship

other than that I got nothing. I am already disabled enough to be incapable of working or attending school so I just chill out allot.

dum dum dum goals...hmm (thats me thinking incase you thought i'd taken a turn for the worst)

My goals for my life are:

-Get my Geosciences degree with the Open University with Honours
-Get into Bristol Uni and onto the Paleontology masters
-Become the guy i am inside, outside.
-Possibly live in Australia
-Do some volunteering
-Learn to ride a motorbike
-Have as good a life as i can =]

I think the hardest part besides transitioning is the first two as i would say im only moderately intelligent but i have a will so i shall find a way

Oh i hope that happens for you, what do you write about just out of interest?

I cling a little lovingly to my deadlines - the excuse to make more of them really helps me get through! I'm glad of the chance to have deadlines for my transition, though - unemployment has really gotten me own at times, and my only deadlines have been quite doom-laiden: 'find a job before X or else take one you hate'.

• Some time in the next fortnight I hope to 'step out' in my new role, with friends I've spoken to and who have been wonderfully supportive so far. Looks like I've a nice picnic on the cards!
• I'm still working on the coming out process, despite the fact word spreads quickly. My only goal here is to make sure I've actually spoken to those closest to me in person, despite what they may have heard 'on the grapevine', even if I've nothing new to say. I do have to start introducing people to my new name some time, though...
• Early September means a local Pride march, so that's a fun deadline too. Past that point I should feel much better about part-timing out in public.. I hope.
• Then I'm on my own until early February, when I have my first GIC appointment at Charing Cross. I hope to have racked some part-time RLE at the very least by that point, as I wants teh hormone.

's all out in the open past that point. I'll have to see what the GIC recommends.

Continue with Facial hair removal at current rate 1st complete clearance should be done in a week or two. see how passable I can make myself look, If I'm at a stage where I'm comfortable Go either part time or fulltime, revise and pass resit exam, coming in September if all goes well get name change before or just after the new year, sort that out with uni. Graduate, finish up odds and ends with transition, (Planning SRS in a few years) passports ect, See if I can fund myself through a 3 month unpaid internship as a degree is worth crap all these days and uni was a waste of money hopefully get into the biology research field I wanted.

Bad endings. (contingencies)
1: My features are far to male... I put off socially transitioning but continue HRT for peace of mind continue with electrolysis where possible set aside money for FFS

2: fail resit, Take the demerit and continue anyway, realize I'm probably not going to get a decent paying science job with my academic mark like that and use the degree once graduated to get a medium paid but depressing office job as a source of money if nothing else.

I've just achieved a major goal, more like a complete goal category composed of a lot of sub-goals, and that was to finish transition. Now my main goal is to catch up with work from being off for a month, and get myself back to my adopted homeland of Australia and obtain my permanent residence there as soon as I heal up a bit more. After that I don't think I'm going to tackle any more life-altering, long term objectives for a while other than continuing to improve my art. Maybe go to the beach

Be full time.
Do FFS (well, part of it, chin and noise.. forehead got delayed due to blurgh mom's bf)
Find a job
Study in university (I am actually studying and working full job.. as me! )

Goals to do:
Forehead (got a date: 15 of september, wish me good luck! I am scared.
Bottom part - hope before 2012... :/
Find a way to have a natural female voice and female vocal range, as in eliminate male voice.. that probably means surgery.. important for me emotionally but not on a rush I guess, will come somehow, get there.
Move to my own apartment (probably happening on august or september.
Be with my bf who is in the UK atm.. probably Christmas.
Some others unrelated goals I guess.. so never mind.

Time since decided to fix myself: just a bit more than 2 years I guess, maybe a few months more.

Explore who I am now that I'm finally Me!
