i just get so tired of my short hair. my mom's been cutting it the same way for 18 years, and it's just now that i'm starting to grow it out, but i don't really like how it looks. it's in an awkward in between stage. there's nothing i can do with it, except maybe use hairclips to pin away any hair that might look bad or just be annoying to me. i'm seriously considering a hair weave. that way i could have nice hair while my scalp hair is growing. i know it's popular among african american women, but there are some women of other races that get them, fashion models in particular. have any of you mtf ever gotten one of these?

I know a lot of white girls with weaves, usually because they bleached their hair a lot and it started to fall apart. I've heard that it's irritating though, and that it messes up the ends. Have you tried clip on extensions? Depending on how short your hair is, they might work, and it's cheaper. Weaves can be really expensive.

i've never tried any extensions at all, but i'll try to see what works.

Try Clip in extensions first.  Weaves and glue in extensions are rough and damaging to your own hair.  And you can make your own.

My only advice would be to get the ones with the better clips and real hair .
