I'm having one of those days.. I just feel really down and and wonder if it's worth it.. I was supposed to have gone to a local group tonight, which I was hoping would pick me up a little, but my mum had a car accident and needed my help with the aftermath, so I didn't get to go.. She's not injured, just quite shaken up.. Yesterday I was fine.. Today I find myself deep in the pit..

Don't beat yourself up, a car accident is pretty scary for the rest of the family.
My ex and kids were in on crash while we were still together, and it took them quite a few days to get over the shock.  I was pretty shaken up too, even though I wasn't involved.
Don't worry if it takes a few days to get back to the level you were yesterday. Hugs to all , Sandra.

So, you're sacrificing your own pleasure for the sake of someone else, who needs you.

More importanly, your sacrificing your own pleasure for your mum.

Well, I don't know how good that makes you feel, but it sure makes me feel good that I can share this world with someone like you.

My mum is my best friend.. I'd do anything for her..

You would do so for mom....but would mom return the favor?
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Without question.. We didn't have the best relationship when I was younger, mostly my fault due to a drug habit, but now have a bond that seems unshakable..

An unshakeable bond can probably survive transition. Dontcha think?
