Tanya Bloomfield has lived in Canada since 2006. She has been living within the nation with a temporary residence permit, but the immigration officials are now questioning the permit and asking her to leave Canada by the end of August.

To Tanya, the request and severe push to have her leave the nation is far too drastic. She has created her own life in Canada, and expressed her love for the nation as a place where she could truly be comfortable with being transgendered.
