HOUSTON - The transgender widow at the center of a controversial case to determine if she is entitled to her husband's death benefits is scheduled to appear on FOX 26 Morning News during the 8 a.m. hour.

The mother of Thomas Araguz, who died in early July fighting a fire at an egg farm in Wharton, is attempting to void the marriage between her son and Nikki Araguz to prevent her from collecting the benefits.

Oh I'm sure FOX will treat her fairly, and with balance.

..as guilty as I feel it's an interesting story that I'm interested to see how it pans out. It's a shame that texas is so backwards.. of all states to be in :S

True it just seems to me that its very well known that FOX is very right-wing and has not been supportive or correctly informed or even politically correct when referring to other TG stories

there was a press conference with nikki yesterday but the version on youtube is heavily edited and yeah ....is there a blog out there that is keeping track of all this??

I think in general local fox news stations are less bias than the national clown outfit. Still not the best idea unless there the only ones willing to cover it. (this happens allot in some towns)  I'll have to find a video clip and see how they did.

Fox and Chris Wallace didn't fare so well with Ted Olsen (Prop .  Wallace tried to trip him up but Olsen stuck to the facts.  Towards the end of the interview you can see Wallace still trying to get in some more questions when suddenly he changed his direction and ended it.  Wallace probably saw some producer waving his hand across his throat *cut! cut!*  Fox lost that one.
