Elizabeth "Libby" Williams of Cherry Hill planned to sit in the back pew that Sunday morning so she could catch the sermon and slip out, unnoticed.

Just walking out of her front door was difficult enough. She had just started to make the transition from her previous life as a male, a change her family was struggling to accept.

Williams did not want to see people's reactions to her appearance and her voice. She just wanted to feed her spiritual yearnings.
