Leon Fyle, 22, told Snaresbrook Crown Court that he had a 30-minute sexual encounter with Destiny Lauren, 29, at her flat in Leighton Crescent, off Brecknock Road, Holloway.

He admitted stealing Miss Lauren's bag, but denied choking her to death, claiming that instead she thanked him for visiting.
