She's Not There blew a hole of wonder through my life. I'd been given it and Alice in Genderland, a book about crossdressing, by a friend. Both helped me realise whole new things about myself, but Jenny Boylan's story rang very familiar. I cried, but I laughed too - her journey's touching and harrowing, but she's a comedic writer with some insightful things to say on how transsexuals are perceived, how everyone perceives themselves, and on how people can react to the transition you put them through.

I'm sure you'll enjoy that one. :)

I'm a big fan of historic stuff - I found a book in my University's library that dealt with research about FtM and women who crossdressed as men in the 1600s. Read like half of it last night.

Female-to-Male Transsexualism : Historical, Clinical, and Theoretical issues
by Leslie Martin Lothstein

It was published in 1983 - so it was an awesome find for me.

That Sounds pretty good!
NORMAL By Amy Bloom has a Great section about FTM's, But i really couldn't stand the author.
She seemed kind of pompous and wrote as though her ->-bleeped-<- didn't stink
and Sexual Metamorphosis (So far, I'm halfway)
has a great memoir about one of the first accounts a man who had 2 very successful phalloplasties in the 70's :)
