Isn't it just my luck to discover that 2010 is the year of the transsexual – now that it's almost over? It's like finding out about a great party that was held in your honor from people you run into at the grocery store the next day. It's the story of my life – a dollar short and a year late!
William Van Meter, writing for the Fashion & Style section of The New York Times, recently declared that 2010 would be remembered as the year of the transsexual. Actually, William, I remember every year that way – at least since 1997. But he's talking about fashion, so he's likely not talking about me.
