What makes a person a woman? What makes a person a man? These are questions that most people do not ever actually want to answer, and unfortunately, most cisgender individuals never question. Few people wake up in the morning and wonder "am I a woman?" Most people are not plagued by self hatred and self loathing that comes from being born with the wrong genitalia. These questions are being faced in Texas as lawyers try to cancel a marriage that took place between a post-op transwoman and a man based upon the Texas constitution's wording that marriage is between a man and a woman, and one's gender is based solely upon the genetic sex one is born and the physical genitalia one is born with.

The two following clips are wonderful and discuss the issues surrounding this particular case. The first is a short FOX affiliate clip and features a debate between a Texas pastor named David Welsh and transgender activist Cristan Williams. Both clips come via Jessica Sideways, a regular commentor on LGR.
