I wasn't afraid anymore.  I was living my life as the opposite gender to how my body looked when I was born, and could not have been happier about it.

But I was far from done.  I didn't have full self confidence or a really finalized, fully feminine look.  I was meek, quiet.  I was rarely "read" by others, but I still was occasionally.  My body was still anatomically wrong.  And fixing that last one was going to involve risking my life several times.
