I've had my consultation and had my lab tests and figured the next step was a prescription.Last night my endo emailed me that he hadn't gotten my doctors letter and today a nurse called telling me that the endo wanted me to be tested again.I'm really irritated because it took me a lot to get to this point and I wanted to be on hrt before summer was over but I start school next week. I guess I shouldn't be so restless but I feel like it's another week that goes by without anything happening and it's frustrating.

Yea I know what you mean. I thankfully didn't have to wait long, but the getting the ball rolling, waiting for the appointments and going through the steps to get the prescription felt like torture, I hope you get your prescription soon sweetie!

Hi, girl

When transitioning, frustration and irritation (feeling desperate and restless) occurring during any phase of the transition --beginning, intermediate (me), end-- are very commonplace feelings.

So all I can tell you about that is: Get used to it, girl!

For example, in my case just to get my estrogen pills It's a whole deal every time, because the manufacturer constantly runs out of them, and then I have to start "digging" for them, drugstore by drugstore, and then when i finally get them, I finally feel "relaxed and quiet", because now I've "stacked up on the juice", just to immediately feel like "what's the point of stacking up, if I don't see the effects I was expecting, after 13.5 months of being on the juice?

See, we "transitioners" feel restless for several reasons all the time, and also, estrogens themselves are known to turn your emotions into a roller-coaster, and restlessness and depression "attacks" are very frequent, and you may feel "very happy" and seconds later "frustrated"! So, even though it sounds like you're just starting, and probably haven't even experienced what I'm talking about, anyways, Welcome to the club!!!

P.S,  I don't know you, but when I  feel REALLY, REALLY restless, I start doing some hip, butt and leg exercises, or aerobics, or stair-climbing or any other exercise geared towards helping my body look more feminine and it immediately distracts and relaxes me!
